Help Shagufta with her lithotripsy treatment
Shagufta Aziz's Story
26 year old Shagufta Aziz has been recommended a lithotripsy treatment by doctors to get rid of the stones that were present in her kidneys for more than 3 months. The pain initiated once the kidney stones started growing. Shagufta soon started feeling this growing pain on a regular basis. She was suggested medicine and bed rest initially, but that did not help much. Shagufta was forced to quit her job and is currently unable to attempt any task, because of disturbing pain.
After her husband’s demise, Shagufta has fed her two children on her own. She used to work at a school as a cleaning lady before developing kidney stones. Ever since Shagufta became unemployed, her brother has been taking care of both her and her children. Shagufta’s brother works at a store and earns a monthly income of 5000 PKR. He is barely able to cover Shagufta’s basic requirements and would need a couple of months to collect money for her surgery. With all other doors of hope closed, Shagufta seeks our help and support. Let’s not let her down!
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
