Help Saleem Walk Again
Muhammad Saleem's Story
Saleem’s life has taken a sad turn after the amputation of his right leg. Since then, he has been living a difficult life. He doesn’t want to be a burden to others. He needs your help to acquire a prosthetic leg to lead an independent life. The amputation of his leg is also affecting his financial stability. Due to a lack of financial resources, he is unable to get an artificial leg. We urge you to help Saleem walk again by donating generously.
Muhammad Saleem, a 33-year resident of Lahore, had a tragic incident seven years ago in which his right leg was badly crushed in a wheat fodder machine while working in the field. He went to a nearby hospital, where the doctor amputated his right leg below the knee level. The doctor advised him to get a right prosthetic leg to regain his mobility and independence.
He lives in a small house with six family members. He is the breadwinner in his family and earns just PKR 25,000 per month. He barely manages to support his family of six with this meager income. He can’t afford to pay for his artificial leg. He said in a depressed tone:
“My nights are filled with restlessness, and this disability weighs heavily on my heart. The thought of my family’s well-being, depending on me, keeps me up at night. I implore you to lend a helping hand. Your support can give me the gift of an artificial leg, allowing me to walk again and provide for my loved ones.”
After exhausting all other options, he registered his case with Transparent Hands, and we are determined to help him get back on his feet. Therefore, we urge you to be generous with your donations and help Saleem walk again. We sincerely appeal to you to contribute with an open heart, as your donation can make a world of difference in his life.
