Help Rani walk again
Rani Suresh Kumar's Story
Rani Suresh Kumar hasn’t been able to look after her family and it really breaks her heart. Rani, a 43-year-old resident of Hyderabad, Sindh, has been praying for a donor like you to get back on her feet. She has been enduring knee joint pain for the last five years of her life. She had been given symptomatic treatment, but it never worked for her and her condition only worsened. So donate and help Rani walk again.
Upon consulting an Orthopedician and after going through a number of diagnostic tests, she was diagnosed with Bilateral Osteoarthritis (OA) of the knees. Knee OA is the result of articular cartilage degeneration without any known reason. This is typically thought of as degeneration due to age as well as wear and tear. After the diagnosis, Rani was advised to undergo a Total Knee Replacement surgery for both of her knees. Total Knee Replacement surgery (TKR) is a complex procedure in which effective joint surfaces are replaced with artificial joints. Her husband shared his distress with us:
“I work as a housekeeping supervisor and just earn PKR 15,000 a month. In this meager income, I would never be able to afford the cost of my wife’s procedure. Transparent is my only hope, I am sure they will help cure my wife” – Rani’s Husband
Rani’s husband earns just enough to feed his family and cannot afford this costly procedure for his wife.
After a lot of distress and with the help of her doctor, Rani has registered her case with Transparent Hands. We are determined to put her on the path to good health as soon as we can. But, it won’t be possible without your help. Your support can get Rani back on her feet. We request you to please donate generously and help Rani walk again. Donate now !
