Neelam and her husband reside in a rented house, and her husband’s monthly income as a daily wage earner is PKR 25,000. This meager sum barely covers their essential expenses, including a monthly rent of PKR 6,000, utility bills of PKR 3,000, and school fees of PKR 1,000. Additionally, they have an outstanding loan of PKR 100,000 to repay. In the face of these financial burdens, the cost of the recommended C-section is simply beyond their reach.
