Muhammad Iqbal's Story

Over the past few months, Muhammad Iqbal has faced significant hardships and challenges. Due to a diabetic wound, Muhammad Iqbal had to undergo a right-below-knee amputation three months ago. This loss has greatly affected his ability to carry out his daily activities independently. Muhammad Iqbal is now in need of an artificial leg to regain his mobility, but due to financial constraints, his family is unable to afford the cost. We kindly request your support and donations to help Muhammad Iqbal walk again.

Muhammad Iqbal, a 62-year-old resident of Pakpattan, is a daily wage earner who lives with his wife and four children. With his monthly income of just 22,000 PKR, it is extremely challenging for Muhammad Iqbal’s family to cover the expenses of an artificial leg. The situation has become even more difficult during the current economic downturn, as Muhammad Iqbal has been unable to work and the family’s financial resources are depleting rapidly. Muhammad Iqbal shared his distress, saying:

“Without a steady source of income, we are running out of options. Please help me regain my mobility and restore my self-confidence..”

Muhammad Iqbal’s struggle to regain his mobility and financial stability weighs heavily on his shoulders. Each passing day without an artificial leg leaves him feeling increasingly dependent on others. Your compassionate donations can transform his life, enabling him to stand tall once more and provide for his family. Your generosity can make a world of difference.

Upon a referral to Transparent Hands, Muhammad Iqbal submitted his documents, and his case has been registered with the organisation. We have pledged to provide him with a prosthesis, but their efforts can only be successful with your generous support. Your donations can bring relief and hope to Muhammad Iqbal’s life during this challenging time. We humbly request that you come forward and contribute towards helping Muhammad Iqbal walk again.

Muhammad Iqbal's Story

In the peaceful town of Pakpattan, Muhammad Iqbal, a resilient 62-year-old man, faced a life-altering event just three months ago. Due to medical complications, he underwent a right-below-knee amputation, forever changing the way he navigated the world. The loss of his limb had a profound impact on his independence and ability to carry out daily activities. Muhammad Iqbal found himself in a desperate situation, as he now needed an artificial leg to regain his mobility and reclaim his life.

However, the weight of financial constraints burdened his family, making it impossible for them to afford the cost of an artificial leg. Muhammad Iqbal's inability to work further exacerbated the situation, depleting their already limited financial resources. Hope, however, came knocking at their door when they were referred to Transparent Hands, an organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to those in need.

With renewed hope, Muhammad Iqbal submitted the necessary documents to Transparent Hands, and his case was registered. The organization recognized the importance of restoring his mobility and independence, and they set out to make a difference in his life. Generous donors stepped forward, understanding the significance of their contributions in helping Muhammad Iqbal regain his ability to walk again.

Under the expert supervision of Dr. Khalid Niaz at Hope Rehabilitation Centre, Muhammad Iqbal's right leg was fixed on the 27th of November 2023. The skilled medical team worked tirelessly to ensure a successful procedure and a smooth recovery for him. The artificial leg became more than a physical aid—it became a symbol of hope, resilience, and the opportunity for Muhammad Iqbal to reclaim his place in the world. Through Transparent Hands, his life took a transformative turn, providing him with the means to regain his mobility and independence.
