Help Istikhar Ahmed Walk Again
Istikhar Ahmed's Story
Istikhar Ahmed is in physical and emotional pain due to his right leg amputation. He is going through trauma because of his physical disability. He experiences challenges every day and needs your support to regain his independence with the help of an artificial leg. His disability is also affecting his financial stability. Due to a lack of financial resources, he is unable to get an artificial leg. We urge you to help Istikhar Ahmed walk again by donating generously.
Istikhar Ahmed, a 50-year-old resident of Kasur, was suffering from diabetes. He developed a right foot infection six months ago. With the passage of time, the infection in his foot worsened and progressed to gangrene. He went to a doctor at the local hospital. The doctor told him that untreated gangrene can damage limb tissues or other organs in the body. The doctor had to amputate his right leg above the knee level to avoid severe complications from gangrene.
He lives in a small house with his wife and one child. He cannot work due to his disability. He is not financially stable enough to pay for an artificial leg. He said in a depressed tone:
“My inability to earn and fulfill my family’s needs is leading me to despair, nervousness, anxiety, sadness, and depression. There is no hope left in my life. Please become my hope and help me to regain independence to move forward.”
His case has been registered with Transparent Hands, and we are determined to help him get back on his feet. Therefore, we urge you to be generous and donate as much as you can for Istikhar’s Prosthesis. Be the hope for this man awaiting a life-changing prosthesis. Please donate today to help Istikhar Ahmed walk again and ease his physical suffering. Your financial support can give him a chance to find a job and get rid of his disability and depression.

His artificial leg was fixed on 4-03-2023 under the supervision of Dr.Khalid. Istikhar is now filled with gratitude and relief as he takes his first steps with an artificial leg independently. It's amazing to see how a little help from generous people like you has changed Istikhar's life forever.
