Help Ghulam Rasool Walk Again
Ghulam Rasool's Story
Ghulam Rasool, a 70-year-old resident of Jhang, has been through immense hardships in the past few years. Ghulam Rasool, a loving father and the sole provider for his family of three children, has faced a tragic accident that has left him unable to walk.
Several years ago, Ghulam Rasool was involved in a life-altering incident that resulted in a severe injury to his legs. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, his injuries were so severe that his left leg had to be amputated above the knee.
Ghulam Rasool’s meager income of only PKR 30,000 per month is barely enough to sustain his family’s basic needs. The burden of medical expenses and the cost of a prosthetic leg are simply beyond his means. He said in despair:
“I have faced immense challenges and pain due to my disability, but with your support, I believe I can walk again and provide for my family with dignity.”
Without the support of a prosthetic leg, Ghulam Rasool is unable to perform daily tasks and support his family effectively. The loss of independence weighs heavily on Ghulam Rasool’s shoulders, and the constant struggle to avoid pity from others has taken a toll on his spirit. He longs for the ability to move freely, to provide for his family, and to regain his dignity. Ghulam Rasool’s only hope lies in the generosity of kind-hearted individuals like you who can help him acquire a prosthetic leg.
We, at Transparent Hands, have taken upon ourselves the responsibility to assist Ghulam Rasool in his journey to walk again. We firmly believe that no one should be deprived of their mobility due to financial constraints.
