Help Bashir Undergo Knee Replacement Surgery
Muhammad Bashir's Story
Muhammad Bashir, a 56-year-old resident of Lahore, has been enduring excruciating knee pain for the past five years. On consultation with a doctor, he underwent x-rays and tests, leading to a diagnosis of Bilateral Knee Osteoarthritis. The doctor recommended a Right Total Knee Replacement surgery to alleviate his condition.
He lives in a rented house in Lahore with his wife and three sons. He is struggling with the finances. Due to his health condition, he is unable to work and contribute to the household income. His son works as an office boy, earning a monthly income of 27,000 PKR. However, with rent amounting to 16,000 PKR, utility bills of 5,000 PKR, and other daily expenses, there is no room for savings.
Muhammad’s son is the sole earner in the family, making it impossible for them to afford the expenses for his surgical procedure. The financial burden weighs heavily on Bashir, as his deteriorating knee condition restricts his ability to carry out daily activities and hinders his quality of life.
He said it with helplessness:
“I am seeking your support for my knee replacement surgery. Your kind donation can greatly help me get the surgery I need to restore my mobility and independence.”
By alleviating the financial strain on his family, you can provide Bashir with the opportunity to regain his health and well-being. Your support will not only cover the surgical expenses but also bring hope and relief to Bashir and his loved ones. Together, we can make a profound impact on Muhammad’s life, allowing him to live pain-free and actively engage in his daily activities once again.
Muhammad Bashir personally expresses his gratitude for any assistance provided, as it will make a life-changing difference in his journey towards restored mobility. Your donation will enable him to receive the necessary medical attention and embark on a path to recovery.

Muhammad Bashir's Story
Muhammad Bashir, a 56-year-old man from Lahore, had been suffering from knee pain for five years. He was a pillar of strength for his family once. However, due to his knee condition, he was unable to stand and walk without support. He needed assistance for even performing basic routine tasks and felt helpless and frustrated. Concerned about his condition, he consulted a doctor. After running an X-ray and some diagnostic tests, the doctor diagnosed Bashir with bilateral knee osteoarthritis. However, his right knee was more affected than the left, therefore, the doctor advised right total knee replacement (TKR) surgery. Unfortunately, the surgical cost was beyond his financial means.
He lives in a modest rented house with his five family members. Bashir is unemployed, his son is an office employee and brings in just PKR 27000 per month. With this meager monthly income, managing the house rent, alongside groceries and utility bills was extremely challenging, leaving no room for savings to pay for Bashir’s surgery. After struggling for a while, Bashir’s family learned about Transparent Hands and asked us for help. Recognizing the gravity of his situation, we promptly registered his case.
On 2nd August 2024, Bashir was admitted to PSRD, Lahore. The surgery was scheduled for 3rd August 2024. His right total knee replacement surgery was performed by Dr. Saleem Bashir. He skillfully managed his case and gave Bashir new hope in life. After receiving post-operative care and successful recovery, Bashir was discharged from the hospital on 6th August 2024.
Bashir described his emotions as follows:
“Suffering from intense knee pain felt like an endless fight. You didn’t just support my surgery; you gave me a healthy future. After my knee replacement, I feel full of energy again. The support I received was a ray of light during my dark hours. Thanks for being there for me!”
The successful surgery positively impacted Bashir’s quality of life. He can now stand, walk, and carry out his routine tasks without support. Bashir is happy to receive such incredible support from you. You have enabled him to spend his life with independence and face the challenges of life with courage. You proved to be a miracle in his time of need.
