Help Muhammad Ayan Undergo Circumcision Smoothly
Muhammad Ayan's Story
Muhammad Ayan, a 5-year-old boy from Lahore, is in need of a circumcision procedure. After a thorough evaluation, his doctor has scheduled the necessary surgery to ensure Ayan’s health and well-being.
Ayan’s financial situation, however, poses a significant challenge in his pursuit of the necessary medical treatment. His father, the sole breadwinner of the family, earns a monthly income of PKR 50,000 as a driver. While this may seem like a decent sum, Ayan’s father’s financial obligations are substantial, including a monthly rent of PKR 15,000 for their home.
Despite his best efforts, father of Ayan is struggling to make ends meet, leaving him with limited resources to cover his son’s medical expenses. The cost of the circumcision procedure is a heavy burden for the family, and Ayan’s father is worried about how he will afford the necessary treatment for his son.
In this time of need, Ayan’s father has turned to Transparent Hands, a trusted organization that provides medical assistance to those facing financial constraints. With a heavy heart, Ayan’s father appeals to the community for support, saying, “My child deserves a healthy and happy life, but I fear that my financial limitations may deprive him of the medical care he needs. I beg of you, please help me secure the necessary funds for Ayan’s surgery, so that he can receive the treatment he requires and live a life free from self-confidence and esteem.”
Ayan’s situation highlights the struggles many families face in accessing essential healthcare due to their limited financial resources. Muhammad Ayan's Story
Muhammad Ayan, a 5-year-old innocent boy from Lahore, had not undergone circumcision earlier. He remained unwell with repeated chest infections in his infancy, and couldn’t undergo this procedure soon after his birth. For Muslim males, circumcision is an important procedure and a way to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.
For Ayan’s parents, ensuring their son underwent circumcision was important. However, despite their wish to do so, their financial constraints were not allowing them to pay for this procedure. Ayan lives in a small rented house with his four family members. His father, the sole breadwinner in the family, works as a driver and his meager monthly income covers their basic needs only. Affording this procedure was challenging for him as they were already facing financial hardships.
During this time of need, Ayan’s parents turned to Transparent Hands and asked us for help. Understanding the importance of this procedure, we took up his case and assured Ayan’s parents that he could have this procedure without delay.
On 3rd July 2024, Ayan was admitted to Lahore Care Hospital. His procedure was scheduled for the same day. Dr. Ahmed Fawad, an experienced surgeon, performed the circumcision. Afterwards, Ayan was hospitalized for just one day and discharged on 4th July 2024. Ayan’s parents were overjoyed and expressed their happiness as follows: “We are so grateful for the support we received. Circumcision is a significant part of our faith, and we are happy that our son was able to follow this important step in his life. We couldn’t have done this without your help. We don’t have enough words to express our heartfelt gratitude. We will never forget your generosity and compassion. This world needs more compassionate donors like you.” After the successful procedure, Ayan’s family felt a new sense of peace and gratitude.
