Help Ashraf to Regains his Mobility
Muhammad Ashraf's Story
Ashraf has been suffering from pain and mental trauma over the past few months. Due to a diabetic wound, he had no choice but to have his right leg amputated. The loss of his leg has shattered his world, making even the simplest tasks seem impossible. Ashraf longs to walk again, to feel the ground beneath his feet, and to regain his independence. However, his family is burdened with financial difficulties and cannot afford to provide him with an artificial leg. Your donation could bring a ray of hope into Ashraf’s life, allowing him to take those precious steps once more. Please open your heart and contribute towards helping Ashraf acquire an artificial leg. Your generosity will not only restore his ability to walk but also bring joy and a renewed sense of purpose to his life.
Muhammad Ashraf, a 52-year-old resident of Khairpur, suffers from diabetes and developed a foot infection seven months ago. His foot became inflamed, and he went to the doctor for a check-up. The doctor just prescribed symptomatic treatment. With time, his inflammation became worse and progressed to gangrene. He was taken to a specialized care facility, where the doctor amputated two fingers of his right leg and then the whole leg above the knee. Now, he needs a prosthetic leg to regain mobility.
In their rented house, Ashraf resides with his loving wife and three children. They rely on their son, who earns a meager monthly income of just PKR 20,000, to meet their everyday needs. However, with their limited earnings, Ashraf finds it impossible to bear the cost of an artificial leg. Ashraf’s voice trembles with despair.
“In the storm of this harsh economic downturn, I find myself unable to work, and we are rapidly running out of options without a steady source of income. Please, I request that you help me regain not only my mobility but also my financial independence.”
Ashraf reached out to Transparent Hands, and his case has been registered with us. We have made a promise to provide him with a much-needed prosthesis. Yet, our ability to fulfill this promise relies on your support. The hope of reclaiming his life rests in your hands now. Please step forward and make a donation to help Ashraf, as together we can bring relief and the gift of walking back to his life.

Muhammad Ashraf's Story
Muhammad Ashraf, a resilient 52-year-old resident of Khairpur, grapples with the challenges imposed by diabetes. Seven months ago, a seemingly harmless foot infection took hold, causing Ashraf's foot to become inflamed. Seeking medical attention, he received symptomatic treatment, hoping for a swift recovery. Unfortunately, time proved unkind, and the inflammation escalated, mercilessly progressing to gangrene.
With no alternative but to fight for his life, Ashraf was admitted to a specialized care facility, where an agonizing decision was made. Two fingers of his right leg were amputated to halt the gangrene's spread. However, the battle was not yet won, as the infection persisted relentlessly, necessitating the ultimate sacrifice—amputation above the knee. This profound loss left Ashraf grappling with the harsh reality of his altered mobility and the daunting road to recovery that lay ahead.
Amidst the shadows of despair, Ashraf found solace in the unwavering support of Transparent Hands, an organization devoted to extending a helping hand to those in need. Recognizing the significance of mobility in reclaiming one's independence, Transparent Hands took up Ashraf's cause, determined to reshape his future and offer him a chance to walk once more.
Through the kindness and generosity of compassionate donors, the seeds of hope were sown in Ashraf's life. Their selfless contributions not only bridged the financial gap but also served as a beacon of compassion, reminding Ashraf that he was not alone in his journey.
Under the expert guidance of Dr. Khalid Niaz at the esteemed Hope Rehabilitation Centre, Ashraf's transformation unfolded. On the 29th of November 2023, his right leg was fitted with a prosthetic limb, marking a pivotal moment in his quest for a renewed life.
Ashraf and his grateful family extend their heartfelt gratitude to Transparent Hands and the compassionate donors who forever changed their lives. Their support not only provided Ashraf with an artificial leg but also instilled within him a profound sense of hope and resilience.
