Shahbaz Moeen's Story

Shahbaz Moeen, a 64-year-old man from Kasoor, has been suffering from a right inguinal hernia for three months. He has a painful lump in his right groin region. He received symptomatic treatment but the lump kept growing in size. He consulted with another doctor who recommended Inguinal Hernioplasty. Inguinal Hernioplasty is a surgical procedure to repair a hernia in the groin. A hernia is a tissue that bulges out of a weak spot in the abdomen.

Shahbaz, a father of four children, is the sole breadwinner in his family and works as an automobile mechanic. His health condition limits his ability to work. He earns approximately PKR 50,000 per month, from which he pays PKR 12000 for rent and PKR 10,000 for utility bills. He lives in a modest 2-marla rented house. Shahbaz’s financial situation is a significant barrier in his path toward recovery.

In his distress, Shahbaz said:

“The persistent pain due to this painful lump has disrupted my daily life. I dream of a day when I can live a pain-free life. Being the father of four children and the sole breadwinner of the family, I am heartbroken to see myself in this unfortunate situation. I appeal to all donors to contribute to my surgery.”

Transparent Hands has taken up Shahbaz’s case to give him new hope. We request all the donors to help him undergo Hernioplasty, which will enable him to live a life free from these health challenges.

Together, we can ease his discomfort, and empower him to regain health and provide for his family. Your contribution holds the power to bring comfort and hope back into Shahbaz’s life.
