Sameen Hamid's Story

Meet Sameen Hamid, a 29-year-old woman from Lahore, who is currently pregnant with her third child. She is approaching the end of her pregnancy, but her heart is filled with worries. When Sameen heard about her pregnancy, she promptly decided to consult a gynecologist at a local hospital. Due to her history of two C-sections, her doctor recommended an elective C-section for childbirth. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of both the mother and the baby. Unfortunately, the cost of the C-section is out of her financial capacity.

Without a C-section, both Sameen and her baby may face significant risks. It may lead to uterine rupture, excessive bleeding, and fetal distress.

Sameen lives in a modest home with her joint family of ten members. Sameen is a housewife who dedicates most of her time to caring for her two children and maintaining her household. Her husband works as a laboratory technician and earns PKR 45,000 per month. Most of their income is spent on utility bills, education, and groceries. They are left with no savings to pay for Sameen’s C-section. During this challenging time, Sameen’s family has reached out to Transparent Hands and asked for assistance.

Sameen’s husband said in despair:

“I work hard to the point of exhaustion, but my income barely covers our basic necessities. All I want is their safety—and for that, I need your help. Kindly help us bring our child into this world safely.”

Transparent Hands has registered Sameen’s case, but we need your support in providing her with a much-needed C-section. Sameen’s hope for a healthier future with her kids now rests in your hands. Your contributions, no matter how small or big, can make her C-section possible and enable her to embrace motherhood with joy once again.

Let’s join hands and support Sameen during this time of need.
