Give For Najma Bibi’s Cholecystectomy
Najma Bibi's Story
Meet Najma Bibi, a 47-year-old woman from Hyderabad, who has been experiencing pain in her upper right abdomen for the past four months. She also faces repeated episodes of nausea and vomiting. Simple daily tasks have become a challenge, as even eating meals triggers discomfort. Recently, Najma visited a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing a medical check-up, the doctor diagnosed Najma with Cholelithiasis—a condition caused by gallstones in the gallbladder. Her doctor has advised Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy to alleviate her suffering. However, the cost of the surgery is out of her financial capacity.
If left untreated, her condition will worsen. It may lead to serious complications like infection, inflammation, or even bile duct obstruction, which will require an emergency procedure.
Najma’s husband works as a salesman in a private firm, earning PKR 25,000 per month. He is the sole provider for their family and struggles to meet daily expenses. The family lives in a rented house, paying PKR 10,000 per month for rent. Their three children are all in school, with two of them having a combined school fee of PKR 4500, while the third studies in a government college. With rising costs of living, Najma’s husband barely manages to cover their household expenses, leaving no savings for medical treatment.
Najma said in despair:
“This pain has taken over my life. I can no longer do the things I once did for my family. My husband works hard, but the surgery is expensive. We already face financial hardships and can’t afford the surgery. I just want to recover and take care of my children again. Please help me get the much-needed treatment.”
Najma’s health should not be determined by financial limitations. Your kindness and generosity can give her a pain-free life. Let’s join hands to ensure that Najma receives the life-changing surgery. Your support can have a significant impact on her life.
