Muhamad Saleem's Story

Muhammad Saleem, a 37-year-old resident of Karachi, has been suffering from right below ear swelling for four years. He received symptomatic treatment but his lump kept growing. He went to an ENT Specialist, where he was diagnosed with Pleomorphic Adenoma of the right Parotid gland. The doctor recommended a right Superficial Parotidectomy as the solution.

His condition is accompanied by symptoms like tiredness and fever. Additionally, he has been suffering from Polio since birth. Saleem wants to get rid of this bothersome lump and live a healthy life. However, the financial burden of his surgery looms heavily over his shoulders.

Saleem lives in a small 2-marla house with his wife and father and is the only breadwinner in the family. He works as a shopkeeper and earns a meager monthly income of PKR 15000 per month. His utility bills amount to PKR 5000 per month. Despite his dedication and hard work, Saleem’s financial resources are severely strained.

In his despair, Saleem said:

“This continuous pain is devastating. I am waiting for the day I get rid of this pain. It’s my humble request for all donors to support me in my life-changing surgery.”
