Kaneez’s husband works as a laborer, earning a modest monthly income of PKR 20,000. This barely covers their basic needs, including utility bills of PKR 2,500 and repayments towards a PKR 60,000 loan. Their family, including their son and daughter, is entirely dependent on this limited income.

Faced with the daunting cost of the C-section surgery, Kaneez is overwhelmed with worry.
