Farman Ali's Story

Meet Farman Ali, a 6-year-old boy from Naushahro Feroze, Sindh, who has never experienced the simple joy of running or even walking like other children of his age. Since birth, he has struggled with severe mobility issues due to cerebral palsy, making it impossible for him to walk without support. Recently, his parents took him to a local hospital. After a thorough medical examination, the doctor found multiple contractures in his limbs. The doctor has recommended a Single Event Multilevel Surgery (SEMLS) as the only way to improve his mobility and give him a chance to lead an independent life. However, the cost of the surgery is out of his financial reach.

Without this surgery, Farman will continue to struggle with restricted movement. It may lead to worsening contractures, increased pain, and a lifetime of dependence on others for even simple tasks.

Farman’s father is a vegetable seller who works hard to provide for his family. He earns around PKR 30,000 per month, which is barely enough to cover the basic needs of his household. With five children to support along with his mother and sister, his responsibilities are overwhelming. Every rupee he earns is spent on food, utility bills, and necessities, leaving no possibility of affording the cost of Farman’s much-needed surgery. As a father, he longs to see his son walk, play, and live a normal life. However, financial constraints have left him helpless and heartbroken.

With tears in his eyes, Farman’s father shared his pain as follows:

“I want to give my son a better life, but I cannot afford the much-needed surgery. It breaks my heart to see him suffer. I am unable to help him and I feel helpless. Your support can change my son’s life.”

Your donations can help him take his first steps and give him a future filled with possibilities. Please contribute today and help Farman Ali move towards a better life.
