Enable Muhammad Nadeem To Speak

Muhammad Nadeem's Story
Muhammad Nadeem, a 3-year-old boy from Pakpattan, is unable to speak. Unlike other children of his age who laugh, talk, and respond to the voices around them, Nadeem was unable to hear any sounds. His parents first noticed his lack of response as an infant, and they consulted a doctor. After undergoing several diagnostic tests, Nadeem was diagnosed with sensorial hearing loss. In October 2024, Nadeem successfully underwent cochlear implant surgery through Transparent Hands. Now, Nadeem can hear the sounds around him, but he is unable to differentiate between different sounds and voices. To truly benefit from the implant, Nadeem now needs speech therapy, which is crucial for developing his language skills.
If Nadeem does not receive regular speech therapy, he may continue to face communication barriers. It may limit his ability to study, interact with others, and integrate into society.
Unfortunately, his family is facing financial hardships. Nadeem lives in a rented house with eight family members. They pay a rent of PKR 12,000 per month. His father, the sole earner in the family, works as a police officer and earns only PKR 45,000 a month. They are struggling to meet their basic needs and can’t afford the cost of Nadeem’s necessary speech therapy sessions.
With a heavy heart, Nadeem’s family said:
“We have come so far with the help of kind people. He has a chance to live a normal life now, but without speech therapy, he might not fully benefit from the implant. We dream of communicating with him, but we can’t make this happen on our own. We ask you to help him receive speech therapy.”
Nadeem’s successful cochlear implant surgery gave his parents new hope in life. However, these speech therapy sessions can enable him to express himself like other kids of his age.
Your support can give Nadeem the ability to speak, learn, and live a fulfilling life. Let’s join hands to help this little boy communicate properly.
