Empower Nazish Defeat Breast Cancer
Nazish Ibrahim's Story
Meet Nazish Ibrahim, a 32-year-old woman from Hyderabad, who has been suffering from pain due to a lump in her left breast for eight months. At first, she hoped it was nothing serious and received symptomatic treatment. With time, the lump grew larger, filling her heart with worry and fear. She decided to consult a specialist, who conducted a biopsy and other lab tests and diagnosed Nazish with left-sided breast cancer. Now, she has been advised to undergo left breast conservation surgery and axillary sampling to prevent the disease from worsening. However, her family is unable to pay for the surgery.
If Nazish’s condition is left untreated, her growing lump may become more aggressive, potentially leading to the spread of cancerous cells. Every passing day without treatment increases the risks, making her fight for survival even harder.
Nazish’s only wish is to recover and continue living a healthy life with her loved ones.
Nazish lives in a small house with her family and financial struggles cast a dark shadow over her hope for recovery. Her husband, the only provider for the family, works as a teacher and makes just PKR 10,000 per month. This meager income barely covers their daily necessities, making it impossible for them to afford the cost of the surgery. Their financial limitations have left them feeling helpless and desperate. During this time of need, Nazish contacted Transparent Hands and asked for help.
Nazish said in despair:
“I never imagined facing such a difficult time in my life. Each day, I wake up praying for a miracle, hoping for a chance to live a healthy life and to be there for my family. But without surgery, my condition is worsening, and I fear for my future. Please, help me get the much-needed surgery.”
