Donate to Tariq Niaz so he can undergo CABG- Open Heart Surgery
Tariq Niaz's Story
Tariq Niaz, aged 65, a resident of Lahore, is diabetic, hypertensive and has also been experiencing chest pains on a daily basis for the past 11 years. He has a history of cardiac complications and is on medication. Previously he has been treated for a heart attack and Angiography has also been done reporting his Triple vessel coronary artery disease (TVCAD). This is the severe form of Ischemic heart disease (IHD) that involves reduction of blood flow to the heart muscle due to build-up of plaque in the arteries of the heart. For this purpose, his cardiologist has advised open heart surgery for coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). Unfortunately, financial constraint is hindering his way to a healthy life. He shares his story in the following words:
“Life has tested me in the last eleven years. I have endured pain but I never gave up. Now, I can not take it anymore. I have lost my job, and both my social and domestic life have been affected. My wife and three kids live with me in a joint family system. I am totally dependent on my brothers and am receiving family support worth PKR. 15,000 a month. In these circumstances I can not afford to fund my heart surgery.”
Luckily, now that Tariq Niaz and his family have been connected with Transparent Hands, you can make this procedure possible. Generously, Donate for Tariq Niaz’s CABG- Open Heart Surgery, and assist him in cherishing his life with his children.

Tariq Niaz's Story
Tariq Niaz, aged 65 years, suffered from repeated episodes of chest pain for a span of eleven years. During this time, he was treated for a heart attack and also underwent an angiography for his ischemic heart disease. On further medical consultation, he was diagnosed with triple vessel coronary artery disease. The doctor advised a coronary artery bypass surgery (open heart surgery) for improvement of blood flow to Tariq’s heart. For this reason, he was admitted to National Hospital & Medical Center and the major surgery was performed by Dr. Ahmed Shahbaz on 22.04.2021. He stayed in the hospital for four days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Tariq’s chest pain has ended and his health is steadily improving.
