Donate to Sumaira Iqbal for Her C-Section
Sumaira Iqbal's Story
Sumaira Iqbal, aged 23 years, got married 8 years ago and has 2 sons. She is now pregnant for the third time. Both her sons were delivered by LS C-sections due to complications in pregnancies and this time again, her child has to be delivered via a C-section.
Sumaira’s husband is an assistant mason and gets 800 PKR per day, with an average of 15,000 PKR per month. Her elder son is 7 years of age and is studying in class 1, whereas her younger son is 1 year old. This family lives in a small house in Khanewal as part of a joint family and tries to survive on this meager income. They do not even own the house that they occupy; it has been granted temporarily to them by the government.
During both her previous LS C-sections, financial help was given to Sumaira by relatives and her parents. This time she does not have enough resources for her surgery as her parents and relatives have their own financial problems. She visited several local hospitals for a free surgical procedure but didn’t get confirmation from any of them. Finally, she contacted Transparent Hands.
“I want to see my baby in good health. I want to see him growing up before my eyes. Your support could bring my baby into this world safely.” – Sumaira
Donating to Sumaira, even if only a small amount, can contribute to the safe delivery of her child.
