Robi Bibi's Story

Robi Bibi is 23 years old and is pregnant with her second child. She has a 3-year-old daughter currently, who was delivered through a C-section. This time again, her gynecologist has recommended a C-section for safe delivery.

Robi Bibi’s earlier operation was done at a private hospital with financial help from her relatives. This time around, due to inflation and unemployment brought about by the pandemic, Robi Bibi has not been able to find financial help. On their own, she and her husband are not in the position to pay for her surgery. Her husband works as a cloth tailor in their small colony and earns approximately just around 17,000 PKR per month and it is already difficult for them to get by on this small amount alone. They have now reached out to Transparent Hands for assistance with the delivery.

Robi Bibi's Story

Robi Bibi, 23 years old, was about to give birth for the 2nd time. She had a surgery done for previous childbirth as well. She was advised for an elective surgery again this time. Her C-section was done on 17-08-20 at Life Care Hospital, Lahore by Dr Farrukh Bashir. She was delighted to give birth to a beautiful baby boy. She stayed in the hospital for two days and was later discharged along with her healthy baby boy.
