Donate to Ramzan Ali for His ORIF Surgery
Ramzan Ali's Story
“Going through an accident was bad enough. I am now bed-ridden and dependent on my family. I just wish to stand on my own two feet and earn for my wife and kids, not the other way around.” – Ramzan Ali
Ramzan, 40 years-of-age, suffered from a car accident one and a half years ago which caused serious damage to his right leg. The doctors diagnosed him with a fracture of his right femur. He underwent two major orthopaedic surgeries to fix the bone. Now he is suffering from periprosthetic fracture of his distal femur after a trivial injury. The doctor has now advised him to get an ORIF with long DCS after removal of the previous plate.
After his accident, Ramzan has been unable to work. He is currently depending on the earnings of his wife and son. Affording Ramzan’s expensive surgical procedure on such a limited income is not possible for the family. When Ramzan Ali learned of Transparent Hands, he put in a request for help with his surgery and registered with us without wasting any time.
Together, we can restore Ramzan Ali’s health and get his life back on track. With your help he will be able to walk again. Each donation will make a difference!
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
Ramzan Ali's Story
Ramzan Ali, 40 years old, had a terrible roadside accident one and a half years ago. As a result, the femur bone of his right leg got fractured which was fixed with a DCP plate. His bone did not unite and got re-fractured around the plate (periprosthetic fracture right distal femur). The orthopedic surgeon recommended surgical intervention. For this purpose, Ramzan was admitted in PSRD Orthopaedic Hospital and his open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) with long compression plate (LCP) was done by Dr. Saleem on 27.01.2021. He stayed in the hospital for four days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. Ramzan is taking ample bed rest and slowly recovering from his surgery.
