Donate to Noor-ul-Eman for Her AV Fistula Formation
Noor Ul Eman's Story
14-year-old Noor-ul-Eman had been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease around a year ago. Shortly after diagnosis, she started dialysis twice a week. The process of dialysis requires an arteriovenous fistula to be made on the arm to which the dialysis machine can be connected. Noor’s fistula was successfully made but 6 months later, her fistula got blocked, which is reducing the efficacy of dialysis. Her doctor has recommended a new fistula but the hospital she visits for dialysis does not currently have the resources to perform this procedure.
Noor’s father, Shahzad Ahmad, suffers from the same chronic kidney disease and is unable to work. His expenses as well as those of Noor, her mother, and 4 siblings, are borne by Noor’s grandfather, who receives a pension of just 10,000 PKR. Their financial condition is not likely to get better any time soon. Meanwhile, sub-optimal dialysis is taking its toll on Noor’s body.
“She has been really fatigued lately and has difficulty breathing. I took her out of school a few weeks ago so she can rest more at home.” – Noor’s father
To help Noor commence her treatment in the best way possible, please donate to her today for her AV fistula formation.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
