Donate to Naqash Javed for His Hepatitis-C Treatment
Naqash Javed's Story
Naqash Javed, 24 years old, was diagnosed with hepatitis C five years ago. He volunteered to donate blood but his screening report came back positive for the disease. He visited his local hospital for treatment and was given medication. He took the medicines for a few months but when he failed to get better, he discontinued using them. Unable to afford consultation at a private hospital, Naqash lived with his condition for 5 long years. Then recently, while visiting a Transparent Hands medical camp, he finally registered his case for free treatment.
“I was really relieved to come across a Transparent Hands medical camp recently. That renewed some hope in me that I can be free from my disease. They patiently listened to me and registered my case. I hope that soon enough, people will come to my aid and my treatment can get started.” – Naqash talking to TH
Naqash works in a private company and is paid 15,000 PKR a month. He lives with his parents and two siblings in a small house in Lahore. His father, a food vendor, earns 10,000 per month. Naqash and his father support the needs of their family members together. The family survives on this amount with great difficulty because of price inflation in Lahore.
Naqash hopes that with financial assistance from you, he can get proper medical treatment for hepatitis C.
Please donate to him to make this possible.
