27 years old Ikram has always dreamed of completing his education but unfortunately after his father’s demise, he had to quit his studies for work. Now, he works as a daily wage laborer earning around 12,000 PKR a month. His income may not be high but it’s sufficient enough to provide food and shelter to his mother and brother. He is also bearing the cost of his younger brother’s studies.

These days, Ikram is going through a tough time. He underwent surgery for renal stones a few months back in which a stent was placed. Now, his stent has started to cause him health issues including urination difficulties and the doctor has advised him to get the stent removed.
