Muhammad Abbas's Story

Abbas is too young to understand what is wrong with him. He is just fed up of his hospital checkups. His aunt tries to console him, but he cannot understand anything. He misses his mother and father badly and often thinks about his sisters too. But he has no other choice than to live with this miserable condition.

Muhammad Abbas is a 7 years old little boy who has been suffering from Hypospadias since birth. Due to his condition, he is unable to urinate properly and will not be able to reproduce unless treated. The doctors have advised him a surgery commonly known as the ‘Bracka 2’ procedure. After first surgery, he’ll have to wait for six months before he undergoes the second surgery.

Muhammad Abbas’s mother passed away from hepatitis after giving birth to him. His father himself suffers from a chronic lungs disease because of which, he is unable to work; and as a result, Muhammad Abbas lives with his aunt. He has two sisters who live with their grandmother but even their financial condition is poor. His aunt has visited many local hospitals, but she was unable to get him treated due to high cost of treatment. After many visits, his aunt turned to Transparent Hands and asked for help.

Muhammad Abbas’s condition needs to be treated as soon as possible so it does not cause any problems in future. His disease is generally treated in an extremely young age, but his treatment has been delayed. The doctor has told his aunt that Abbas is unable to reproduce his cells for future growth, unless he undergoes required surgery.

Muhammad Abbas's Story

Muhammad Abbas 3 years old child was suffering from congenital hypospadiasis resulting in deformity of his genitalia. He was advised series of surgeries to correct his defect. His first surgery (BRACA-1) was done through Transparent Hands a few months ago. Now his second surgery to make his urethra (BRACA– II) was done in Akram Medical Complex on 06-09-19 by Dr. Naveed Haider. He stayed for 2 days in hospital and had good post operative recovery. He was discharged in good health.
