Ghulam Fatima belongs to a small town in Lahore. She lives in a joint family system with her husband and a child. When she heard the news of her pregnancy, her happiness knew no bounds. She couldn’t wait to bring her baby into this world but destiny had other plans. The doctor has informed her that she is extremely weak from inside and this could affect her health badly. She underwent C-section previously for the birth of her 1st child but now, her condition is worse.

She needs to undergo elective C-section for safe delivery as she is not healthy enough to deliver through the normal procedure. The doctor has warned them about the complications that might occur if she doesn’t deliver through an operation. Fatima’s husband has already spent his savings on her medicines. He doesn’t have enough money left for his wife’s delivery. He works as a laborer and hardly earns 500 PKR a day. In such meager inco­­me, this family is struggling to manage their day to day expenses.
