Bushra Bibi's Story

Bushra Bibi, 30 years old, is expecting her third baby. She has two children who were both delivered through C-sections due to complicated labor. This time as well, Bushra is going through some complications during gestation because of which it is possible for her to lose her baby if she does not have a C-section.

Bushra Bibi lives with her husband, children and mother-in-law in a two-bedroom rented house in Lahore. Her husband earns 15,000 PKR/month working as a cleaner at a bank. He is the sole breadwinner in the family and is responsible for the expenses of all the family members living with him. He has not been able to find a way to pay for his wife’s surgery and hopes that Transparent Hands can help him out in this regard.

Bushra Bibi's Story

Bushra Bibi, 30 years old, was about to give birth for the 3rd time. She had surgeries done for her previous childbirths as well. She was advised for an elective surgery again this time. Her C-section was done on 18-08-20 at Life Hospital, Lahore by Dr Farrukh Bashir. She was delighted to give birth to a beautiful baby boy. She stayed in the hospital for two days and was later discharged along with her healthy baby boy.
