Abdul Hameed's Story
“At my age, it is difficult to remain too active. With this condition, I have to get up every few minutes to go to the washroom because I feel pressure on the bladder. I am an old man and don’t have the stamina to keep doing this.” – Abdul Hameed
70-year-old Abdul Hameed discovered only 2 months ago that he is suffering from prostate cancer. Since it is a slow-growing, treatable cancer, it is imperative to deal with the adverse symptoms being caused by the growth, particularly during urination. Abdul is experiencing frequent urination, incomplete emptying of the bladder as well as blood while urinating. He has been recommended to have channel TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate) surgery for relief.
It is for his TURP surgery that Abdul has approached Transparent Hands. Since he has no job of his own at his age, he is dependent on his 4 sons who all live in his house. His sons, however, are all married and have families of their own to support as well. With low-paying jobs, they cannot handle the medical expenses of their father’s surgery.
Abdul and his family are requesting your donations for his surgery. This is their only source of hope.
To help him out, simply click donate now to fund his surgery.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
