Donate Shazia for her C-Section
Shazia Bibi's Story
“She used to be very active but now she needs support to do even little household chores. Once she was the reason for our laughter and peace but now, no words can describe her pain. I just want her to recover and enjoy her life with us again”- Shazia’s husband
About 11 years ago, Shazia was married to a laborer Abdul Rehman who hardly earns 500 rupees a day with an average of 10,000 rupees per month. She is blessed with 2 sons and a daughter and all of them are studying in a government school. Currently, Shazia lives in a house allocated temporarily by the government.
Shazia’s previous pregnancies involved medical complications which is why she had to undergo C-section surgery 4 times in private hospitals. Unfortunately, one of her kids couldn’t survive at the time of cesarean delivery due to birth asphyxia.
Now Shazia is expecting for the fifth time and doctor had advised her 5th C-Section to avoid any medical conditions which can be fatal for the her and infant’s health. Doctor has warned that if C-section isn’t performed within the due date, it can lead to birth related complications like permanent brain damage or even cause the death of the infant.
Abdul is already in serious debt. He still needs to repay his relatives and friends some of the money he had borrowed to pay the expenses of previous surgeries. He is even unable to pay for Shazia’s diagnosis or medicines; therefore, meeting the costs of 5th surgery is beyond his reach.
He went to many private hospitals for a free surgery but all his attempts ended up in vain. Finally, he came to know about Transparent Hands and contacted the organization for free surgical procedure.
This distressed family needs your immediate attention and help. Make a donation to help Shazia bring her child safely in this world.
Please help us to save the life of a helpless mother and her innocent child.
