Rukhsana Bibi's Story
“I have tried my best to provide for my wife as much as I could but now her medication and surgery costs are beyond my reach. I wish I could relieve her pain and had the financial stability to pay for her treatment. Unfortunately, I’m helpless!”- said Rukhsana Bibi’s husband as he pleaded to us for help.
Rukhsana Bibi is a 29 years old homemaker who has been suffering from Complex Ovarian Cyst for last 7 years. Since then, she is experiencing severe pain in the lower abdomen, vomiting and nausea.
Around one month ago, she noticed a lump in her lower abdomen and went to a local hospital for treatment. Doctor diagnosed that she has a cyst which may already have ruptured causing bleeding and weakness. They advised her to visit Lahore for advanced surgical treatment.
She didn’t get any relief from local hospitals and contacted Transparent Hands after being suggested by a random person about our free healthcare facilities.
Rukhsana Bibi is the mother of three children. Her elder daughter studies in 5th standard and both her younger son and daughter study together in 3rd standard. Her husband is a rickshaw driver and earns 12000 PKR per month. Within this meager income, he is maintaining all the household expenses and the educational costs of his children. The whole family lives in a remote area of Punjab where they are even deprived of basic necessities like electricity and gas.
Rukhsana Bibi needs our kind support at this moment. Our donation means a lot to her. Let’s donate generously for this needy patient so that she can regain her health and recover from her illness.
