Nusrat Liaquat's Story

27 year old, Nusrat Liaquat was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, two years ago when she gave birth to her youngest daughter. She could not get treated due to lack of money.

Now her condition has worsened as she is experiencing pain in her joints, vertigo, loss of appetite and loose stools. She needs to be treated urgently to put her life out of risk.

Nusrat used to work as a maid before getting ill. Her husband is a waiter, with monthly salary of 9000 PKR. They live with their 3 children in a small, rented house. It is not possible for them to arrange money for Nusrat’s treatment.

Luckily, they came across Transparent Hands and contacted the organization for free treatment.

Nusrat Liaqat 27 years old lady was diagnosed with Hepatitis C. She was advised treatment after undergoing several tests. Her workup was done and she was treated in Lahore Care Hospital under the care of Dr. Talha Bin Ayub. Her body gave positive response to treatment and she completed her 3 months’ course of medicines.

Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
