Nazia Shehzad's Story

“My wife is very dear to me. She is the mother of our two precious children and going to give birth to our third child. My poor financial condition sometimes makes me feel guilty for becoming a father again. Please help us with the safe delivery of our baby.” – pleaded Nazia’s husband.

Nazia got married about seven years ago. She is a mother of two – a 5 year old son and 1.5 years old daughter – both of them were delivered through L S C Section. She is now pregnant with her third child.

This time again, the doctors have advised her surgery – L S C Section for childbirth. Nazia often undergoes depression because of their poor financial condition.

Her husband is a laborer at a potato cold storage and earns about 500 PKR per day. They live hand-to-mouth in a small house provided by parents.

Nazia visited many public and private hospitals for free operation but all of them refused to take her case. Her worries were finally erased when she learned about Transparent Hands. She has appealed the organization to fund her surgery.
