Naseer Munir's Story
“Even with my disease, I tried to work and earn for my family but now, it is taking toll on my health. I don’t know where I should go to ask help for my treatment. Every hospital I’ve been to, ask me to pay a huge sum of money which is beyond my financial capability. I’m already struggling to manage my household expenses. In such circumstances, it’s impossible for me to pay for my medicines, let alone surgical treatment” – Naseer Munir
Naseer Munir, 22 years old boy, resides in a small village of Pakpattan with his parents and 6 younger siblings. He has been suffering from Bilateral Renal Calculi (renal stones) for the last two years. Initially, he received treatment from a hospital and his stones were passed spontaneously. Unfortunately, the healthcare provider turned out to be a quack who just minted all his savings and didn’t treat him properly. After 6 months of his treatment, his disease has reverted back and this time, it’s causing him more pain than before.
He recently consulted a doctor who informed him that the stones were not entirely removed from his kidney previously and now, the number has increased. Naseer is left with no money to undergo treatment this time. He earns merely 15,000 PKR per month and takes care of the needs of whole family including his parents and 6 younger siblings. Naseer’s health is deteriorating with each passing day. He is suffering from pain in both kidneys, vomiting, infection and frequent fever.
Naseer’s father is deeply worried at the thought of arranging money for his surgery. He is too weak to work and pay for his son’s treatment. Luckily, Naseer came across Transparent Hands and requested for free surgery. Naseer is now scheduled for his Rt. Pyelolithotomy (surgery for removal of stones) at Akram Medical Complex through Transparent Hands.
Naseer needs our help to recover from his illness permanently. Please donate for his surgery now!
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
