Donate Muhammad Azeem for his Ileostomy
Muhammad Azeem's Story
This 1.5 years old baby is living an uncomfortable life due to his disease. Help him now!
Muhammad Azeem is the only child of his parents. When he was born, his parents were very happy but their happiness lasted for only few days. After three days of his birth, he was diagnosed with intussusception – a medical condition in which a part of the intestine folds into the section next to it. It typically involves the small bowel and less commonly the large bowel. Muhammad Azeem underwent urgent surgery from the same hospital and his ileostomy stoma was made. Doctor advised that he has to undergo one more surgery after few months to close the stoma.
His parents took him to hospital again for second surgery after some time but doctor didn’t pay attention to them. They told them that due to long waiting list, Muhammad Azeem has to wait for a few more months. He cannot afford to wait for such a long time due to his increasing pain. He experiences intense abdominal pain, which often begins suddenly and make him feel uncomfortable. His parents cannot afford to pay for the surgical expenses themselves. His father is a school teacher and only earns 15,000 rupees a month. In such meager income, its impossible for him to pay for his son’s surgery.
Luckily this family came to know about Transparent Hands through a friend. Muhammad Azeem is now scheduled for his Ileostomy closure in a few days at Akram Medical Complex. We request you to please support him as much as you can so that he can live a normal and healthy life like other kids of his age.
