Donate for Zain’s Artificial Arm
Zain Ul Abideen's Story
Before you proceed to read Zain’s tale of woes, please know that you can help him. Your donation, however small it may be, will provide him with the help he needs to continue living a normal life. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Zain’s artificial arm as much as you can.
A year ago, fifteen years old Zain accidentally got his right arm stuck in a corn machine. Due to the severity of the wound, the doctors had to amputate his arm from below elbow level. After the wound healed, the doctor advised Zain to get a prosthetic arm placement. An artificial arm will give Zain a modified movement and enable him to perform his daily activities without any added hindrance.
Unfortunately, Zain’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of an artificial arm. Zain’s father is the sole earner of the family. He works as a manual laborer on daily wages and hardly manages to earn PKR. 16,000 per month. With a family of eight to raise in this income, he is in no position to arrange for his son’s artificial arm. His father hardly makes the both ends meet with his meagre income. Zain’s father told us :
“He is unable to play and eat even with his friends in school. He struggles when using one hand. As he grows older, his need for a right-hand increase. Please help him get an elbow prosthetic for his right hand.”
After a lot of physical and mental anguish, Zain Ul Abideen and his parents have registered his case with Transparent Hands. We are determined to make his life as pain-free and smooth as before. But, it won’t be possible without your help. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Zain’s artificial arm as much as you can. Click the green button and donate now!
