Donate for Samina’s C-Section
Samina Waseem's Story
Financial constraints can turn happy occasions into ones filled with fear and uncertainty. Samina Waseem is awaiting the birth of her baby. But, she does not have the means to arrange for her C-section. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Samina’s C-section as much as you can.
Samina Waseem, a 27-year-old resident of Tando Allahyar, is currently eight months pregnant. Samina is immunocompromised and weak. Since this is her first pregnancy, to avoid any complications, the gynecologists’ has advised her to undergo a C-section. Without a C-section, Samina and her unborn baby’s life will stay at risk. C-Section is the surgical procedure by which one or more babies are delivered through an incision in the mother’s womb, often performed because vaginal delivery would put the baby or mother at risk.
Unfortunately, Samina Waseem cannot afford the hefty cost of the surgery. Her husband is a laborer and their monthly income is around PKR 15,000 per month. With this income, they hardly manage to keep their household up and running. Therefore, they are in no position to arrange for Samina’s C-Section. Samian told us:
“There are many things I do not understand. When the lady doctor told me that I have to get an operation, I got extremely worried. I thought my baby was at risk of dying. But, the doctor told me it is just as a precaution. Please help me.”
After a lot of distress, Samina Waseem reached out to Transparent Hands and we have registered her case. We wish to get her baby delivered into this world safely. But, we need your help with that. We humbly request you to come forward and please donate for Samina’s C-section without any delay. Donate now and help Samina Bibi find a way out of her distress.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
Samina Waseem's Story
Samina, a 26-year-old resident of Tando Allahyar, was expecting her first child. Her pregnancy went smoothly until she reached her eighth month when she was diagnosed with Pregnancy Induced Hypertension. Upon consultation, the doctor told her that she would have to opt for a Cesarean Section due to the risk to the baby’s and mother’s lives. Samina and her husband could not afford the cost of this procedure. Her doctor referred her to Transparent Hands. Samina was sent to ISRA University Hospital. Her C-Section was performed by Prof. Dr. Pushpa Sirichand on 04-02-2022. Samina delivered her baby safely into this world and she was discharged after three days of hospital stay. Both the mother and baby are safe and sound. She can’t wait to see her baby’s milestones.
