Donate for Saif’s Cochlear Implant
Saif Ullah Khan's Story
Saif Ullah’s parents have been worrying about their child’s future for a while. He was born with Sensorineural Hearing Loss. This means that he has never heard his parents’ voices. However, you can give him the gift of hearing by supporting his cochlear implant surgery. Please donate for Saif’s cochlear implant as much as you can. Your gift will determine his entire future.
Two-year-old Saif Ullah Khan, a resident of Abbottabad, was born without the ability to hear but his parents were unaware of his condition until he was old enough to respond to sounds. They took him to an ENT specialist. To diagnose Saif’s ailment, the doctor performed several tests. Saif was diagnosed with Sensorineural Hearing Loss when the reports arrived. The doctor recommended that Saif should get a hearing aid device first, but Saif’s parents couldn’t afford it. When Saif’s hearing abilities failed to develop after some time, he was taken for another evaluation. Saif’s doctor told his parents that he needs to undergo a Cochlear implant surgery.
With the help of this medically implanted neuroprosthetic, Saif will be able to hear.
But sadly, Saif’s family cannot afford the hefty cost of this procedure. His father works as a salesman and has a family of five to support. Saif’s father shared his distress with us:
“I wonder what my boy’s life will be like when I see all the kids running around in our neighborhood. My son has never even heard his own name. I want to give him the best future, but there’s no way for me to pay for the expensive cochlear implant. Please help us. ”
We have registered Saif’s case and are determined to help him. But we can only do so with your support. We request you to donate for Saif’s Cochlear Implant and give him the gift of hearing.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.

However, his parents didn't give up and took him to a local hospital when he was one-year-old. The doctor evaluated him and recommended a Cochlear Implant Surgery. The procedure was performed by the skilled surgeon, Dr. Jawad Ahmad, at Ali Medical Centre, Islamabad, on 21-06-2022. The internal component of the cochlear implant was successfully installed, and after one day of hospitalization, Saif was discharged. After six weeks, the external component was also fixed, and now Saif can hear the world around him.
