Help Transparent Hands Provide Personal Protective Equipment to Medical Staff All Over Pakistan

With patients increasing day by day during this coronavirus pandemic, the entire globe is facing a healthcare crisis. As individuals, we are all playing our part in making it through this crisis by staying home and staying safe. It is important to remember, however, that medical staff everywhere is on the front lines, putting themselves at risk to take care of affected patients. They do not have the luxury of staying home but instead, have to be at close quarters with infected individuals every day.

In such dangerous circumstances, doctors, nurses and all other medical staff dealing with COVID-19 patients deserve industry grade personal protective equipment (P.P.E). Transparent Hands is dedicated to quality healthcare in Pakistan and has taken the initiative to provide P.P.E to select medical staff all over Pakistan. This protective suit will be disposable and will include the following gear:

Fully body protective suit
Gloves
Protective cover for shoes
Face shield
Protective cap
Face mask

Each suit will cost around PKR 460/- and we aim to raise money for 6500 suits. These will be distributed according to the following breakdown:

Transparent Hands Has Successfully Delivered PPE Equipment to Hospitals in Mardan

Transparent Hands has delivered 1000 PPE kits (1000 suits, 1000 masks, and 1000 pairs of gloves), as well as 200 face shields to Mardan. On 23rd June 2020, this equipment was distributed among different hospitals in Mardan by Ali Muhammad Khan, Former Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, on behalf of Transparent Hands. The distribution was as follows:

1. Mardan Medical Complex: 500 Suits, 500 masks, 500 pairs of gloves, and 100 face shields.

2. District Headquarter Hospital: 250 Suits, 250 masks, 250 pairs of gloves, and 50 face shields.

3. Tehsil Headquarter Hospital: 250 Suits, 250 masks, 250 pairs of gloves, and 50 face shields.

Our healthcare workers must be protected at all costs and your support has helped us take another step in this direction. Thank you for donating to this cause!
