Twelve years old Muhammad Faizan suffers from severe abdominal pain and swelling. Moreover, he was missing the left testicle from the scrotum. Upon consultation, he was found to have an undescended testis. An undescended testicle is a testicle that hasn’t moved into its proper position in the scrotum.
To treat this condition, the doctor has advised Muhammad Faizan to undergo an Orchidopexy. Orchidopexy is a surgery to move a testicle to its proper position in the scrotum and fix it. While an Orchidopexy is an easy solution to Muhammad Faizan’s problem, it is certainly not an accessible one. Unfortunately, Muhammad Faizan cannot afford the hefty cost of the surgery. His father works as a labourer and hardly earns PKR 15000 per month. This income barely fulfils their basic expenses. They are in no position to arrange for their son’s surgery.

Muhammad Faizan's Story
Muhammad Faizan, aged 12 years, from Arif Wala had left undescended testis. The said medical condition can be corrected by Orchidopexy that is a procedure in which a surgeon fixes an undescended testicle inside the scrotum. For this purpose, Muhammad Faizan was admitted to Lahore Care Hospital where his surgery was performed by Dr. Sajjad Nayyar on 29.04.2021. He stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition.
