Muhammad Arshman's Story
Before you dive into the gory details of Muhammad Arshman’s ailment, please know that your help can relieve him of his pain. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Muhammad Arshman’s Herniotomy.
One-year-old Muhammad Arshman suffers from a right inguinal hernia, a condition that comes with too much pain for anyone, let alone a child. It is not as if the condition has developed all of a sudden. But, Arshman has been suffering from this condition since his birth. For those who don’t know much about hernias, an inguinal hernia refers to a protrusion of abdominal contents through the inguinal canal. The consequences of this include constant stretch and pain.
A Herniotomy is the easiest way of fixing a hernia, a surgery that can put Arshman’s misery to an end. But unfortunately, Arshman’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of this surgery. His father is the sole earner of the family. He works as an electrician and hardly earns PKR 500 per day. With the rising inflation, his income is barely enough to keep the household running. Therefore, he finds himself in no position to arrange for his son’s surgery. In a conversation with us, he told us:
“I spend most of my day fixing wires in other people’s homes. They tell me that I am good at it. Unfortunately, the only thing I cannot fix is my son’s ailment. I feel so helpless with that. Transparent Hands has agreed to help me, and I am so grateful for that.”
After a lot of distress, Muhammad Arshman’s parents have registered his case with Transparent Hands. We have assured them that we would arrange his surgery for free. Now, all we need is your help. Therefore, we request you to please donate to Muhammad Arshman’s herniotomy as much as you can.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
