Donate for Hashir’s Open-Heart Surgery
Muhammad Hashir's Story
Little Hashir has seen the pain of a lifetime at the age of a mere one year. His tale of woes has brought tears to our eyes. We are determined to get this little angel healthy and happy as soon as possible. The only thing standing between Muhammad Hashir and the surgery he needs is financial constraints. Therefore, we urge you to please donate for Hashir’s open-heart surgery as much as you can.
Muhammad Hashir has been suffering from Tetralogy of Fallot since birth. TOF is a combination of four congenital abnormalities; a ventricular septal defect, pulmonary valve stenosis, a misplaced aorta and a thickened right ventricular wall. This condition has made him unable to breathe, run or gain weight like any other child. To treat this condition, the cardiac surgeon has recommended him to undergo TOF repair surgery. It is an open-heart surgery in which all four defects of the TOF are repaired, a process that greatly improves the quality of life of the patient undergoing the surgery.
Unfortunately, Hashir’s parents cannot afford the hefty cost of open-heart surgery. His father is the sole earner of the family. He works at a private firm and hardly earns PKR 20,000 per month. This measly income is hardly enough to keep the household running. He told us:
“I have been to what seems like a million hospitals to seek affordable treatment for my son, but all went in vain. Now, even if I save for a lifetime, I won’t be able to save enough for his surgery. I am at my wit’s end.”
As a last resort, Hashir’s parents have registered his case with Transparent Hands. We have assured them that we would try our best to arrange his open-heart surgery as soon as we can. Now, all we need is your help. Please donate for Hashir’s open-heart surgery as much as you can.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
