Donate for Asif’s Below-Knee Prosthesis
Asif Naveed's Story
Asif Naveed has been circling back and forth to various hospitals to seek an artificial leg for months. His disability has become a hindrance in all of his daily activities. We wish to get him rid of this disability. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Asif’s below-knee prosthesis.
Three months ago, Asif Naveed met a roadside accident that severely injured his right leg. At first, he had surgery in which he was subjected to the application of an external fixator in his leg to treat the compound fracture. But unfortunately, it did not help him and resulted in an infective non-union of his fracture. Due to the spread of infection, his leg had to be amputated at below knee level from his body. After the amputation, Asif waited for the wound to heal. Now, he seeks an artificial limb that will help him continue his daily activities and work.
“The night of his accident was inarguably the worst night of our lives. It was so scary. Thankfully, he is out of danger now, but he has lost his leg. Without it, he cannot even stand up, let alone go to work. Please help my husband and donate for Asif’s below-knee prosthesis.” -Asif Naveed’s Wife.
Due to his health condition, Asif Naveed has been out of work for three months. Financially, he is dependent on his wife, who hardly makes 10,000 per month. In between household expenses and rent, he cannot afford the cost of his artificial leg. Therefore, after a long period of mental and physical distress, he has approached Transparent Hands for help. We have assured him that we would arrange for his leg prosthesis as soon as we can. Donate for Asif’s below-knee prosthesis and help us turn this promise into a reality.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
