Donate for Asad’s Prosthesis
Asad Ali's Story
We urge you to donate for Asad’s prosthesis to help him walk again. A roadside tragedy changed Asad’s life forever. Asad Ali, a 25-year-old resident of Lahore, has been enduring the pain of an unimaginable loss. Asad was hit by a truck six years ago and got his left leg badly injured. He was rushed to the hospital and, upon medical evaluation, the doctor discovered severe trauma to the left leg. His left limb was completely crushed and it was not possible to save it. Therefore, the doctors had to amputate his left leg above the knee level.
Asad is the only breadwinner in the family and has no one else to help and support him financially. He works as a tailor and earns a minimum wage to support his family. His family is hardly able to make ends meet and can’t imagine paying for the procedure without help from a donor like you. A friend recommended Transparent hands to him and he got in touch with us. He shared his grief with us in the following words:
“My trauma is still fresh. The doctors have amputated my crushed leg but they cannot cure my crushed soul. After my wound healed, I realized that my ability to run daily errands and routine matters had significantly diminished. I have no one to help me financially. It’s very hard to live like this.” Asad Ali.
Asad awaits your donations to acquire the left prosthetic leg in order to improve the quality of his life. Now that he has been connected with Transparent Hands, we are determined to help him with his prosthetic leg as soon as possible. We urge you to help Asad generously and make his life better. This will not be possible without your donations. Please donate for Asad’s prosthesis as much as you can.
Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
