Anum Bibi's Story

There is no joy greater than the anticipation of holding a baby in your hands. Unfortunately, Anum Bibi’s anticipation is coupled with crippling fear. Before you dive into the details of Anum Bibi’s tale of woes, please know that your help can bring her baby into this world safely. Your donation, however small it may be, will protect Anum and her baby from any kind of threat. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Anum Bibi’s C-section as much as you can. 

Twenty-five years old Anum Bibi is currently pregnant with her third child. She has undergone two caesarean sections three and one years ago respectively. Due to some complications, her second child could not survive. Moreover, Anum Bibi is immunocompromised as well. Therefore, now, to prevent any threat to the unborn baby and the mother, the gynaecologist has advised her to undergo a Caesarean section. Caesarean section, also known as C-section, or caesarean delivery.

Unfortunately, Anum Bibi cannot afford the hefty cost of a C-section. Anum Bibi’s husband is a labourer and hardly earns PKR 700 per day. In this meagre income, he does not have the means to arrange for his wife’s C section. We had a conversation with him, he told us:

“Past two years have been the hardest on us. The death of my second child left us too depressed to focus on anything else. Now, this baby has brought a new ray of hope into our lives. We feel as if we are alive again. Please save my child from any possible danger. Please donate for my wife’s C-section.”
