Twenty-three years old Aiman Asif is a mother of a beautiful child. Due to some complications in her previous pregnancy, her child was delivered through the C section. Now, Aiman Asif is pregnant for the second time. Seeing her previous medical records and current situation, the gynaecologist has advised her to undergo another C section to deliver her baby. Without the C section, Aiman and her baby’s life would stay compromised.

Lower segmentation Caesarean section is the most common type of C-section. In this surgical procedure, the surgeon makes an incision a little above the urinary bladder’s connection with the uterus. The location of this incision is the lower segment, hence the process is called lower segmentation C-section. Unfortunately, Aiman Asif cannot afford the hefty cost of this procedure. She is a single mother and bears her own expenses. Due to this, she finds herself in no position to arrange for her own C-section. She told us:

“We are ready to welcome another baby into this world. My kid is so excited. But, the fear and uncertainty keep hovering above my head. What if things go wrong? What will we do?”
