Asma Bibi is a simple homemaker who was married 6 years back. She is also a loving mother of her 4 years old daughter and 2.5 years old son.

Both of her children were delivered by L S C-SECTION in a local hospital due to complications in her pregnancy. Now she is pregnant for 3^rd time and again needs a C-section to avoid all the potential life risks during birth procedure.

Her husband is a diabetic patient and has developed diabetic foot. He is on medication and takes insulin regularly. He is also mentally handicapped person. Therefore, he cannot work and bear the responsibilities of his family.

Asma is going through tough time and she remains depressed most of the time due to her miserable condition. She has no stable source of income and depends on her brother-in-law to fulfill the basic necessities of her family. She lives with her in-laws in a joint family system in a small house.

Asma’s family had to borrow money from relatives and friends for her previous operations and is still paying those debts. She visited many hospitals for free surgery but they denied giving her any help.
