Ambreen is a 31 years old woman who lives in a rural area of Mian Channu with her parents, one sister and one married brother. Her brother is the only earning member of the family. He works as a lawyer’s assistant and earns around 300 rupees a day. In such meager income, he has to take care of his kids and also pay for the expenses of his siblings and parents. This family is hardly managing to make both ends meet.

In such circumstances, Ambreen is diagnosed with gall bladder stones. She went to a few hospitals for treatment but doctor advised her that she needs to undergo surgery for permanent relief. Ambreen doesn’t have any money to pay for her surgical expenses. She relies on her brother for every little thing she needs. They tried contacting various local and private hospitals but they refused to treat her for free. Ambreen’s health is deteriorating with each passing day. She experiences severe abdominal pain, vomiting and digestive difficulties due to which she is unable to perform any household chores. Her brother came to know about Transparent Hands and they immediately came here.

Ambreen Akhtar's Story

Ambreen Akhter 31 years old lady was suffering from Rt. Hypochondrium pain and vomiting. She was diagnosed with Symptomatic Gallstones and was advised Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy for her symptoms. Her surgery was done on 19-09-18 in Abid Hospital, Mian Channu by Dr. Abdul Saeed Sajid. She remained admitted for 2 days and had good post operative recovery. She was discharged symptom free in good health.
