Asiyat, 57 years old, a resident of Umarkot was suffering from chest pain for the last five years. She visited the hospital for her check-up and the doctor diagnosed her with HTN (Hypertension) and DM (Diabetes Mellitus). These two diseases are very common in heart problems. The doctors then advised her LHC and PCI with stent placement for her. Asiyat is a housewife and her husband’s total monthly income is merely PKR. 10,000 per month. With this little income, they hardly make ends meet. It is not possible for her to undergo LHC and PCI with stents.
