Altaf Hussain Awaits Hemorrhoidectomy
Altaf Hussain's Story
Altaf Hussain, a 29-year-old man from Dadu, Sindh, is suffering from pain during defecation, accompanied by bleeding. Each visit to the toilet is painful and difficult, making his daily life a constant struggle. Despite the pain, he has been continuing to work hard to support his family. Recently, she visited a doctor at a local hospital and consulted a doctor. After performing a thorough check-up, the doctor diagnosed Altaf with External Hemorrhoids—a painful condition that causes swelling and bleeding from the anal area. His doctor has advised Hemorrhoidectomy, a procedure that can relieve his pain and prevent further complications. However, the cost of the surgery is out of his financial capacity.
Not undergoing the surgery may lead to complications like thrombosis (blood clots), prolapse, or strangulation, potentially requiring more extensive medical intervention.
Altaf is the primary provider for his family of ten, working as a laborer and earning just PKR 20,000 per month. His brother also contributes to the household income, and together they make PKR 35,000—an amount that barely covers their basic expenses. Three of Altaf’s four children study in a government school, and although their education costs are minimal, providing for their needs is still a challenge. The family lives in a rented house, paying PKR 6000 per month for rent, with additional expenses for food, utilities, and other daily necessities. With such a limited income, affording the cost of surgery is impossible for Altaf.
Altaf said in despair:
“This pain has taken over my life, making even simple tasks unbearable. I cannot afford this surgery, and I fear that if my condition worsens, I will no longer be able to work and support my family. My children need me. I humbly ask for your help so that I can regain my strength and have a healthy life.”
Altaf’s suffering can come to an end with your kindness and generosity. Your support can help him receive the much-needed surgery, allowing him to live a pain-free life and continue providing for his family. Let’s join hands to bring him relief.
